Week 4: Hamnet & wife's improv show
Weeknote #4.26, from to .
Published on .Finally started making plans for travelling this year as well as hosting family visits. Got tickets for my mom to visit us for a couple of months starting in February and my sister and brother-in-law are also visiting in February so we'll all be together for a good while.
Watched #
- Carrie (1976) on Netflix. She did nothing wrong.
- ⭐ Hamnet in LAB111. A beautifully heart-wrecking experience. My review.
- Hedda on Prime Video. After being stunned by Nia DaCosta's The Bone Temple, I wanted to watch more of her work, and this was a fun, devilish follow-up. My review.
- Continued: PRIMAL Season 3 and The Pitt Season 2 on HBO Max, Community Season 3, CITY The Animation, The Expanse Season 2 and Twisted Metal Season 1 on Prime Video.
- Started: A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms on HBO Max. Really liked the lighthearted vibe of this one.
Played #
- Continued Half-Life 2. I gotta say, this game has made me appreciate first-person perspective games (not shooters specifically) a lot more.
Moved #
- Played 90 minutes of Padel at NDSM Padel with friends.
- Biked to work for the first time in a while! That was 1 hour of biking in the windy cold, which wasn't that fun.
Went out #
- ⭐ To OT301 to watch my wife perform as part of the You're looking at me! Meisner showcase. Being an improv show with just a bit of a predefined setup, there were naturally highs and lows. I'm proud to have experience the highest high from my wife's performance; the best part of the show and I'm not just saying that!
Read #
- Continued Abaddon's Gate (The Expanse 3).
- Started *The Fifth Season (Broken Earth 1)* by N. K. Jemisin.
